Yeong Die - 構築

Though it may sound irregular, the interlocking partitions, minute displacements, and adjustments to the gaps between layers push the whole structure upward. 《構 tangle》 spreads its highly particulate sounds wide, stacking up planes of surface. By leaving the edges slightly blurred to preserve negative space, it shapes color through the stability of the low–mid range and the length of the reverb tail. By contrast, 《築 layer》 first sets a central pulse, around which bands of synthesizer coil and rotate. Because the rhythm has a clear spine, the development is more concise, and modulation and timbral shifts cohere around that axis. Through opposing strategies—diffusion and convergence—the two tracks return to the same question: when we stack, isn’t it less about adding material than about deciding on a direction?

Corporeal Praxis is an experimental trajectory composed of wandering bodies, fragmented screens, and the condensation and dissolution of sound. Sampled sounds are randomly disrupted, losing their original form, while the love generated by granular synthesis inscribes the afterimage of sound-images into the interstices of the body. The memory of cinema proliferates, and the body slips within its reverberations. Love transforms into texture, and sound becomes tactile.
